Westin selected to develop the Fallbrook’s Engineering and Operations Key Performance Indicators
The Fallbrook Public Utility District (District) provides water, wastewater, and recycled water services in Northern San Diego County. Westin has been selected, without an interview, to fully develop the District’s Engineering and Operations Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with their major business processes. Concurrently, we will develop an Implementation Plan for metrics that cannot be easily measured at this time due to inadequate core applications and current business processes (e.g., manual timecards). Westin will also help the District plan to select and procure a business intelligence (BI) tool to assist in the future collection and reporting of performance data. The resulting KPI Program will provide the District with objective-based evidence that is both visible and transparent, thereby avoiding future subjective performance opinions by their Board Members, ratepayers, and other stakeholders.
Even though the District is relatively small with only a 2.7 mgd Water Reclamation Facility and 9,000 potable water service connections, this strategic project enables Westin to fully develop our Engineering and Operations & Maintenance KPIs within Westin’s 360 EUM Initiative.
Westin’s Project Team includes Rod van Buskirk as the Principal Consultant, Albair Hanna for CMMS and GIS data support, Denise Walker as the Project Administrator, and our newest team member, Kyle Tracy to review their SCADA data & management practices.
